STEP 1
FILTERS LARGE PARTICLES
Water flows around the plastic end cap and into the pre-filter, which filters large particles and lengthens the life of the nanofiber membrane.
STEP 2
FILTERS BACTERIA
From the pre-filter, water flows into Liquidity's unique, bacteria and cyst-retentive, electro-spun, nanofiber membrane.
STEP 3
IMPROVES TASTE
From the nanofiber membrane, water flows through the carbon block. The carbon block reduces chlorine, which improves the water's taste.
STEP 4
ENJOY
From the carbon block, water flows through the plastic thru-cap, the mouthpiece and into your mouth.

THE KERPLUNK® PRINCIPLE
The Naked Filter is a mechanical micro-filter with an activated carbon core. The activated carbon core is there to improve the taste and odor of your water. The real magic happens within our proprietary Liquidity nanofiber membrane, which traps bacteria, cysts, and any particle bigger than 0.2 microns in diameter from the water you drink.
If you are familiar with the game Kerplunk, the same general principle applies with our membrane. During the manufacturing process, nanofibers are laid down in many layers to form a complex structure that’s mostly empty volume. The membrane’s intersecting nanofibers function in the same way that the intersecting sticks in Kerplunk hold up the marbles.
EFFECTIVE TO THE LAST DROP
Because the Naked Filter uses a mechanical filtration process, it remains safe throughout the entire life of the filter. In other words, our filter will reliably and effectively remove bacteria and cysts from your water from the first through to the last drop. As more and more water passes through the Naked Filter, it’s filtration membrane fills with particles. Over time, the filter’s flow rate will gradually slow, and eventually shut off completely. The Naked Filter is essentially self-regulating, and when the water flow is too slow, just swap out the old filter for a new one.
